The raw materials of dried shrimps are talon shrimps, which shape like talon of a falcon when they curl their bodies. After sorted, steamed, dehydrated and peeled, talon shrimps turn to dried shrimps.
Dried shrimps can be categorized into spring shrimps and fall shrimps, the latter ones are better in quality. They maintain the original taste of fresh shrimps but more portable and preferable among tourists.
Dried shrimps can be eaten directly and other ways of cooking include making soup, making salad, frying or making raviolis.
